Why Marksheet Photos Always Look Bad
Original marksheets are usually printed on slightly-coloured sheets (cream, light blue tint, security weave). When you photograph one on a brown table under a tubelight, the result is muddy. The portal’s upload reviewer sees a beige document on a darker beige background — rejection.

Common Errors and Fixes
- ID photo on marksheet disappeared. Pure B&W threshold too strict. Switch to Grayscale.
- Date stamp invisible after cleaning. Bump brightness +10 (faint stamps become visible).
- Watermark gone. Watermarks are designed to disappear under enhancement. Keep Enhanced Colour mode.
- Bleed-through from other side. Source paper too thin. Re-photograph with white sheet behind.
- Marathi text became blurry. Don’t use Sharpen on Devanagari — it amplifies pixelation.
- Logo / state emblem distorted. Whiten BG too aggressive. Reduce threshold.
- Signature on marksheet too faint. Bump brightness +15, contrast +20.
- QR code on new digital marksheet pixelated. Source photo too low-res. Re-photograph at higher zoom.
- PDF size too big. Lower quality slider before download.
- Output too dark. Whiten BG didn’t engage. Toggle Yes.
- Marksheet looks washed out. Brightness too high. Reset to default.
- Edges cut off. Source frame wasn’t straight. Use WhatsApp Print Editor first to straighten.
